On the occasion of the round of presentations of the TerminAI project, Devol, through its Business Development Director, Felipe Rebollo, has participated in an interesting interview in Cadena SER.
The TerminAI research project is oriented towards the creation of a health data space that offers a comprehensive view of patients’ health. Currently, there is no solution that integrates clinical information, which is disaggregated into different entities, in a complete and accessible way.
Therefore, a thorough legal and technical research process is required in order to develop a complete and accessible data space that complies with all data protection regulations.
As explained in the interview, the main objective of this space is to provide critical information for medical research, healthcare management and clinical decision-making. In this way, the aim is to reduce errors, streamline processes and improve efficiency in the healthcare field.
As a company whose business strategy is focused on improving the digitization of companies and sectors, this project allows Devol, on the one hand, to generate a set of tools with the possibility of being easily integrated into other sectors such as, for example, in the process of diagnostics, data anonymization processes, generation of consents, automation of audits, etc. through hyper-automation (AI, ML and RPA).
On the other hand, Devol will focus on the problems of the healthcare sector, where Devol is not yet very active.
Facing unprecedented challenges, such as those described in this project, requires better and faster, user-friendly solutions and, as is the case in other sectors, artificial intelligence can help significantly.
